I am a Humboldt Foundation Research Fellow based at the Bayerische Staatssammlung für Paläontologie und Geologie, Munich. I was formerly a NERC-funded postdoctoral researcher based in the Department of Palaeontology at the Natural History Museum, London, and before that I completed my PhD in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge.

My main research interests are in Mesozoic terrestrial ecosystems, macroevolutionary patterns and processes (especially amongst Mesozoic vertebrates), biogeography, and the evolution of the ornithischian dinosaurs. See the links (right) for more details of my research, publications (including Nexus files), fieldwork and a CV. I will be adding more PDFs etc. in the near future.

I am the section editor for fossil reptiles at Zootaxa. If you are interested in submitting a taxonomic paper for consideration for publication in this journal then please contact me. I am also a contributor to The Paleobiology Database.
